tranny fliud

how many quarts of tranny fluid do i need when i put in a shift kit? all i got to do is drop the pan. i have a 700r4

When I did the shift kit on my 96 Impala SS (4L60-E), it was around 5 1/2 qts. I also recently dropped the pan on my 90 K1500 (700R4) and it took 5 qts.

I always put 4 qts in and then start it up and let the tranny warm up before topping it off.

Which kit are you installing? A corvette servo ($20) will really help the 1-2 shift.

im intalling the transgo shift kit i believe it comes with the corvette servo

where can u get a corvette servo for $20, i need one for a 700r4. i already have a 91 formula firebird trans and i wanna do some work to it.

Is the stock pan on the tranny? What year is the truck? What kind of truck is it?
