Fujimi 500SL AMG

Hello,

I have possibility to buy a Mercedes 500SL AMG kit made by Fujimi, for about 25 dollars.

I have not seen any reviews or regular threads about this kit (only about Tamiya version), so I wanted to ask if it's any good?

My view...

Not good at all, wheel too small and is curbside, but is good if you want to do some bodykit try out

. Use those $25 and get yourself the Tamiya AMG SL500, It got an engine and good in proportion.

you can pick up the Tamiya version for pretty cheap on ebay

Gotta agree with this. I picked up both the AMG 500SL and 500SL both for £10. This is around $20 for two Tamiya kits. Full engine detail, AMG even has the AMG body kit.. These two kits are on my "to be started list"

Okay, thanks, I will look out for Tamiya 500SL then!

I can't find that AMG one on Ebay though, I guess I should settle for normal 500SL.

The 500SL AMG is out there, but not so common. It has the AMG body kit, and IMO a better kit. I brought them both of ebay just a few months back, got the AMG for £6.00 and the standard 500SL for £4.00.

Just keep your eye on ebay. They pop up every now and then. eBay have a 500SL for .99p at the moment. It perhaps will not go past a fiver..!! Good kit, and if you like the car, worth getting.
