Finally, HO Throttle body and Intake Manifold

Well guys I got em. a TB from a High output Quad 4 along with the Intake manifold... Junkyarding for 2 hours and I found them t'was the only car with them still in tact and not banged up too bad.

All I've been hearing is good things about this swap. What are the backlashes? and of course how much could I expect to gain from this? Is it worth my time and effort to have these things polished up and me install them?

ur gonna have to fab up a bracket to attach the throttle cables to the new TB or else they're gonna stick and rub.. ur gonna also have to buy or have a transition piece made up so that you can port match your head to the hi output mani- that is unless you're planning on doing some major hogging out of your head to match the ports on the manifold..
other than that- the swap yeilds a pretty decent gain in power.. goodluck!

you should gain some hp, maybe 5-10. I did the swap on my grand am, and i like it. I wrote an install guide for it, check it out, its not done yet, but if you need help just ask. Also there is a guy on j-body.org that is selling the convertion flangs for around 55 dollars i think.
