Every BOV i have seen is closer to the tb. Why is it better to have it closer to the intercooler??

Re: turbo question?....

its better to have it close to the turbo to make sure your turbo doesnt get compressor surge. people put it next to the tb to show it off

Re: turbo question?....

when the tb closes, all the compressed air gets backed up within the pipes and goes into the spinning turbo which is going in the opposite direction. can hurt blades, cause increased bearing wear. can cause alot of damage to your turbo

If that is true then I still wouldn't matter if it was close to the TB or IC. When the blow off valve opens it will just vent out.
