Re: Which first?

My bad ass exhaust setup cost me under $100. 3" straight pipe back, no restrictions or muffler. 2 mandrel bents, 1 - 90* on the down pipe and 1 - 45* in the rear. Everything cost me $96 shipped to my door! (And no its not clamped... the clamps were just used to hold it up while I welded up the exhaust hangers) Along with a nice set of 272 cams... Ahh gotta love that lope. I had my uncle fooled into believeing that I put a 350 in it!

And my Apexi AVC-R cost me $325 shipped, brand new in the box.

Its your decision.

I even made myself a external dump O2 cause with the 3" exhaust I was getting creep like a motherfucker... This helps out a lot, yes its ugly but you cant see it when its in the car. (Dont mind the welds down the side of the external dump... I was fucking around with my new welder getting the heat and speed down... lol)

Re: Which first?

Yes, please do. If this is a 2g at 14 psi or so, adding a couple more psi wont add as much power as a good exhaust upgrade will. Just be ready to port the 16g if necessary to prevent boost creep. Good way to blow things up. And no boost controller will help you with creep, no matter how fancy.

Re: Which first?

www.ebay.com is the place to go. Just read the sellers feed back and make sure everything is good then your fine.

Re: Which first?

Hey Jake I like your o2 housing, how hard was it for you to do that? Do you think a exhaust shop would do that for me?

Re: Which first?

Took me about 1/2hr... I cut it with my air tools, ported it out, grinded everything smooth, welded it together, and put a plate in the inside so it blocks it off from the rest of the O2 housing, then grinded that smooth so it wouldnt affect flow! Wasnt too hard for me, I've done harder. A shop might be able to do something for you like that, might want to look into it.
