shaking blazer 90 tbi

hello

here are the specs... 1990 CHEVROLET TRUCK S10 BLAZER 2WD
6 Cylinders 262 Z 4.3L TBI

i replaced this.. cap, wires, plugs, rotor, air filtre, the injectors, gas filtre and rebuild engine.

the computer shows only one code, the MAP sensor with values of 029.
the techboy says the MAP is almost weak. but in the function range.

i cleaned the IAC and there are good reaction.

so here is the problem
i start my blazer normally when it's idle i smell like gas not too much but i can smell.
when the truck is idle feels how the motor shakes a little.
the temperature in my blazer are 160-170 . the oil pressure is 60-80 idle.
the voltimeter says 14-15. (i use direct gauges for each one).
when i put in to "D" (drive) run very well, but when i use the truck about 15minutes and meke a stop, while i hold down the brake and the car is in the "D" for a5 minutes , feels like going to die several times. and when i run the truck feels rough.

i never ever and ever know about the other owner clean the EGR.

when i hear the motor while idle , near the distributor and the tbi sounds like "BFFFZZZZZ" and sometimes not do.
what can i do??

thanks for your help.

Nalman

Re: shaking blazer 90 tbi

Set your timing with the timing wire unattached from the computer.

Could be a vacuum leak at the throttle body to intake gasket. Would also account for a low MAP sensor reading.

Re: shaking blazer 90 tbi

The last guy to have the MAP code in a situation like this had a bad timing problem.

I would check the timing before replacing parts.

Just remember to remove the timing wire when adjusting the timing with a timing gun.
