1996 vortec 5.7 throttle stop adjustment.

I have an idle problem with my 96 350 K1500 truck. I thought it was the wrong cam and it is not. I can't seem to find the throttle stop adjustment procedure in the GM SI2000 software that the dealer uses. The truck surges from 500 to 750 when in park. I rebuilt the engine and cleaned everything and replaced most sensors priorto this. The surging improved as I closed the throttle blade with the adjustment screw. The only thing that happens is the truck revs up to 2000 for the first few seconds everytime reguardless of engine temperature. I have checked for vacuum leaks and there is none. I know the procedure for adjusting the throttle stop is different from 96-98 and 88-95. Anyone know it?
