1992 Lincoln Town Car Rear Reflectors
My 1992 Town Car has a cracked reflector lens in the rear and on the left side when facing it from the rear. Does anyone know if this part is available and what the replacement cost may be? It looks like there are 3 separate sections to this unit which runs just below the trunk. If anyone is familiar with how to remove the section that would also be appreciated. I want to replace it and if I can find and buy the part doing it myself would save me some dollars. Thanks for your assistance.

Even if you could get it at a dealer, it'd be $350 to $450.
We refer to that unit as the "light bar", which makes no sense since it's really a reflector bar. I don't think you'll find it at a dealer at this late stage in the game so the only other option is a junk yard. Removal is easy, it bolts on from the inside of the trunk lid. There's a few guys that converted that reflector bar into an actual light bar using those led strip lights, looks pretty cool.

Re: 1992 Lincoln Town Car Rear Reflectors
Thank you for the quick reply. I will begin searching my local junk yards and use the internet to locate this reflector strip. Also, I appreciate your explaining how to remove/install this strip.
