no start-b16
my friends 94 civic has a b16. it was up and running just fine when the battery died and he had to have it jumped. the person who hooked the cables up put his on backwards and blew the battery fuse under the hood. the trouble is, now even with a new battery and battery fuse, all it does is crank over but wont start. we are thinking now that it might be ignition. it has an msd SCI ignition box with a blaster coil. i'm beginning to wonder if the coil is fried. has anyone had this problem before or do any of you have any suggestions?
thanks |

Re: no start-b16
i think u might have fried your ecu...sending 12v's through the negative side...not good...if u can find an ecu like the one u have....maybe a friend has one u can use...and check it...

Re: no start-b16
before i was driving on the freeway my car died... cop came over and tried to jump me, put the shit on backwards, fried the fuse..
at that point my coil was already toast (thats what made it die on the freeway), so... dunno
