Drivers door/ lock, elec. mirrors, int. lights, door ajar light

Everything electric associated with the drivers door is not working. can't lock the doors with the power lock button; can't adjust electric mirrors; radio shuts off when engine quits, not when door opens; door ajar light is on.
The only thing that works, which I assume will quit soon, is the power windows. all other electrical does not.
Is there a fuse that runs all this together?
I recently had the car fixed from hitting a deer. (just minor repair) Have had the car back though for a few weeks, and this just started this monday.
Any thoughts/advise appreciated.

I dont believe it is the fuse, 'cause the electronics wouldn't work on the other door(s).

Try looking inside the black(?) boot running to the driver door, it holds all the wires. Another member had problems with powerwindows not always working and just replacing a broken wire in the boot solved the issue. Just look for any broken wires. If that doesnt work take off the door panel (very simple, two screws above door handle, then w/ flathead screwdriver pry the clips off then lift the whole panel straight up) and see if you have any loose connectors or broken wires.

Hope I am some help. Let me know if you need further info.

The best way I can think of would be to take a 12 volt test light and start from the switches and work your way back. Remember you have to press the buttons before current will show. And then keep progressing down to the fuse box untill you find current. when you get to the place where current is present and then start replacing wires and such until you get them to work. It just takes a little work to figure out the problem and fix it. If you don't have a haynes manual get one it will give you all the wiring diagrams so it will make it alot easier.

Interestingly I had similar thing happen last night on my 2002 Explorer. When I pull the key out, the door locks (and exterior keypad - 7/8 and 9/0 to lock) don't work. The interior lights come on, and won't go off, as if the door is ajar. When I use the remote to lock, when pressing twice, the horn beeps twice instead of once, and the interior lights don't go off. I can use the keypad to unlock. If I am in the car and press the remote lock button twice, the horn blows once as it used to outside before the problem. I didn't check the electric mirrors. I had the right rear door actuator quit about six months ago, and refuse to fork over the $200 to fix it! Any ideas?

Today I locked the keys in Explorer using remote. Anticipated using keypad to get it. Pushed first digit of my code, and the alarm started sounding. Went around to the right rear door with broken actuator to get in to get keys to stop alarm. What the heck is this? If it sounds familiar, do you think it's an expensive repair (actually, which repairs aren't expensive these days).

Thanks for any help.
