WIP 1/8th Scale Camaro

Now that the new camera works I took a few pics of the camaro Im trying to do up like my real one. I made my own headers for this out of the parts tree so there not the greatest but you get the idea of what I was after. I also wasnt able to do a couple things on the model the same as the real car but its close enuff I think. I tossed the Nismo in just so everyone can get a good size comparrison on this thing, its huge man. I also used the same paint on the model as I did on the real car, that is PPG 2004 PT Cruiser dark slate grey or a 2004 Mustang Smoke grey metallic. I shoot it with my airbrush and didnt have any problems as you can see. I will update some more of the interior as soon as I get the screen and subs done. Let me know what you think...

Not quite sure about that, never thought of it. I just knew I had to get it and go for, Ill figure that one out later. I do have plans on putting in some small led's for headlights, tailights, and maybe even dash lights for this one since its big enuff. Heres a few interior pics also...

Re: WIP 1/8th Scale Camaro

First of all, nice building! And now for the ugly:I see orangepeel in your paintwork, try using 1:1 automotive polishes/rubbing . It will look soo much better then!! ( using polishcloths on a 1:8 is probably timeconsuming, to say the least )
