1991 Cherokee Lardeo Questions
Hello All,
I just bought this Jeep used. I have read the threads about cooling systems for these older ones. Mine has a radiator cap and coolant overflow tank, is this an aftermarket radiator? It runs at about 210-220, fan comes on, doesnt overheat, what is the normal operating temp(4.0L I6) also, the 4WD is inop, but there are two switches on the front axle, it is a part time or full time? thanks |

Re: 1991 Cherokee Lardeo Questions
'91s have the "open system" so it's factory
As far as temp, sounds normal. My '88 (with closed system) runs around 200-210 (then the fan comes on). As long as it's not overheating, I wouldn't worry about it. Where exactly are the "switches"? They could be for the ABS. If you have a disconnect for the front axle, it's vacuum operated, not electrical. |
