warm starting problems
ok, when i go out to my 89 dx in the morning it will fire up and go good and strong as ever, but when i shut her off, when i come back, if the car hasnt gotten ice cold again, it will not start under primary ignition, i either have to wait it out, or have a buddie push it and pop the clutch out, i have swapped out dizzy, new plugs, cap, and wires, carb/injector cleaners, re grounded the battery, new air filter, new main relay, well junk yard new on the dizzy and relay, what could be causin my no start blues? once she threw a code 8 at me, but only once, god im just at a loss for what to do next, and i dont wanna keep on shotgunning this untill i finally hit bullseye, and btw, if i turn my heater on full blast it will go put put put, like an old carberated 8 sounded, i went to advanced auto, and every thing checked out ok, and occasionally it wont have the vroom power that it usualy does, but other then that she is strong as ever and wont stall out, not even attempting to, so any advice is welcome from anybody, thanks

Re: warm starting problems
oh yeah change your fuel filter too, its really easy and cheap. Its at the top left of your engine bay. Black cylinder thing.

hey brisket this problem has been haunting me for the past two years. ive owned and currently own 2 crx 89 and 90 and they both will not start unless cold. the weird thing is even if the engine is cold and the car is in sunlight and warms up it wont start. ive changed almost everything u have plus fuel pump and filter and still wont start. im dumbfounded. im sure more ppl have had this problem i mean ive had 2 rexes do it......hopefully this summer the B16 wont have the same symptoms ....good luck

Re: warm starting problems
I had the same problem. I had the temp sensor changed and no more problems.
