Check it Out!! My new Car!!
After looking around I finally found myself a 9c1
 It's a little rough but I got it for $2050! Very nice! Glad to see yet another Chevy nut has just joined the ranks...
Give us some specs on it... it's always fun to see what certain cars came with, and what people plan to do to them.

Hlandin your right, its a 1994 Caprice. The spid in the trunk reveals it to be a true 9c1 too with the LT1
 I hope its a good one. I guess I won't really know until I drive it for awhile though. The Caprice is sure different then my old car (Datsun Z), I think I can fit more people in the trunk of my caprice then the entire interior of my ole' Datsun.

Thats one of the reasons they were popular in two groups: police and taxi cab service. One of the reasons taxi companies like them is what you listed: the large amount of interior and trunk space. Check out this article:
http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/auto/20030822a1.asp Its about used cop cars being wanted by everyone from taxi cabs to average joe. Although it covers Caprice, Crown Vic, and Grand Mar, it says loads about used police cars.
