1980-1990 ford f150-f250??

well i have been on the hunt for a car or truck and i have looked at a 1980-1990 ford f150-f250 (probly a f150) extended cab shart box 4wd (as far as i can tell) i just glanced at it while going past it in the persons driveway, sopposely its for sale for $500 cnd it is rusted around wheel wells, bottom of extended cab side, and the rear left bed side bottom. i am wondering if i should look more into this truck or steer clear away from it (this is going to be a daily driver for myself (16) and part time offroader (rutted dirt roads, to fishing and camping spots)

for what you want, and for the price, don't worry about the rust, check the front end , ball joints, bearings, lockout's and steering linkage, tierod ends,..ect. i had a 1985 i drove for 9 years, it had the same rust problems, and i also had to replace the mentioned parts along with others, but it had over 200,000 miles on it...
