91 3.1L V6 heater core replacement
Ok I have a 91 Corsica and I believe the heater core needs to be replaced. I get a sweet smell in the car when I turn the heat on and my windows fog up easily. I can see no signs of leaks anywhere but I do have to top up my radiator every few weeks with a ½ - 1 liter of coolant.
Ok so how do I go about replacing the heater core? Does anyone have any pics or instructions from the repair books? Help me please because I need to sell my car ASAP but can’t unless I fix this problem and I do not want to pay the 400+CAD to do so. [email protected] |

how did that work out for you? My brother and his family just drove 3 hrs to spend Christmas with us and we found out that he has no heat in his Corsica. The heater core is plugged. We bought a new one and hope to replace it either today or in the morning. How much time should we set aside for this project? Any help is good help!

Just don't jump to conclusions and think its the heater core, thats exactly what the head instructor told me about the mechanic that assumed it was a heater core right off the bat. |
