91 tpi engine/computer into an 89 car

im asking about an 89 camaro that has had a 91 tpi put in it. the computer came with the engine, but the wiring harness didnt. the guy hooked up about half of the wires to the computer, and can get it to run for a few minuites then shuts down. i have been reading the wiring diagrams for both of these, and i notice the new computer/engine has a map sensor rather then a maf sensor, it also has 2 knock sensors, and has done away with the burn off relay. my question is, how possible is it to use the existing harness to hook up the new sensors? or would it just be easier to take the tpi off and throw on an edelbrock intake/carb. i would like to keep the tpi if possible. do i need to buy a 91 harness, most of the wires are the same, just different color. i can get all that hooked up, but i may have trouble running wires to the sensors. someone please help, maybe a diagram somewhere for the conversion?

i bet it wouldnt be that hard if you got the 91 harness, you should have everything you need if you do, because all of the sensors from the 91 engine should have a spot in the 91 harness..
