PCV Valve help
ok im having some probs with finding the pcv valve. i have a 96 4cyl. i have been told i have to remove the (Cat) to replace it. i want to replace it because the car now has 85k miles and runs real cold. its not the cooling system because i have a new set of hoses, waterpump, and thermostat. i thinking that maybe its pumping in too much exhost gas in to my cylenders. i also have less power then what i started with and a real bad idle.
if u think its no the valve then plz tell me what u think or if u know how to get out the pcv. thanks |

Re: PCV Valve help
If you had a V6 I could tell you. Since you don't, the only advice I can give is go do a search in the Zetec Maintenance forum at contour.org.

Re: PCV Valve help
PCV valve is behind the exhaust manifold on the zetec.
