According to my 99's service manual it reads - " No CCD/J1850 Message From Body Control Module". As I am new to these cars I don't know what exactly this implies. The is a module called the Body Control Module but so far I do not see what it does.

After looking a little more it seems to deal with A/C, fan, temp selection and defogger system. This book does not explain a heck of a lot even though it is a service manual.

Re: Trouble Code Help

BCM is exactly that, a module that controls everything electrical on the Body except for engine and tranny control functions, but is stil intregal to the functions of them, it controls practically everything like Door Locks, Interior Lights (like illuminated entry and dimming out), Dash Lights, Headlights (Especially Automatic ones), Climate Control, Wipers, Etc.
