Engine Swap or Rebuild
I want to get other people's opinions about swaping or rebuilding the engine.
I saw somewhere that the 4G63 would fit into an ES 02, but im not sure, i emailed the company and they said they dont know if it would fit into my car. Does anyone know if it will fit? Or is it better to just rebuild the engine? |

Re: Engine Swap or Rebuild
what engine is the lancer equipped with? Is it one of those eclipse 2.4 engines? You know that the evo 8 head bolts right up to those eclipse 2.4 motors. 2.4 motor with evo 8 head + echaust and itnake manfiold + turbo = Good shit

Re: Engine Swap or Rebuild
not necessarilly, the 2.4l wont rev out as well as the 4G63, and are ALOT weaker by comparison. if you want power, the evo engine will drop straight in, but will require a fair bit of funds to do it,
