Unhappy Hand brake light stays lit

It used to stay on for a little while after starting it, then it would turn off after a few minutes. Then it started coming on during hard acceleration. Now it's just on all the time. Anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix this? Thanks.

you dont have enough brake fluid in the master cylinder, check it first. cause under hard acceleration, the fluid sensor thought you didnt have enough, just add some more brake fluid. its not always the hand brake thats the problem. check all your brake lines for cracks or leaks.

if its a P10 then it could just need the handbrake switch (for the light)
adjusting, its not uncommon.

Ditto, same problem affected me...that sensor for the brake fluid is really sensetive...just top it off...
