I have a 1992 plymouth laser. Automatic with 1.8 L (4cylinder). I have oil in my air filter and I can't go 4 blocks without the oil light coming on. My car smokes excessively and when I take the oil cap off it smokes from inside. what's the problem ? Please anybody have any idea please help me.

Re: Oil in my air filter and car holds no oil
I would suggest doing a compression test. I have a feeling it will fail.

I know this may sound ridiculous, but we were talking in class about an issue similar to this, and the problem was the PCV valve, I would suggest changing out the PCV valve, you can get one for like 3 or 4 bucks at an auto parts store, try that, if it doesnt work, heck you only lost a few bucks.
