97 24valve 3.0

I am replaceing the crank in my engine and cant get the harmonic balancer bolt off. I have broken two wrenches,tride left and right turns and heat. Is there a secret I dont know?????

beats me, but if the bolt is supposed to come off, might I recoment a pull bar and a craftsman socket?

I am assuming it is out of the car.

Lock the flywheel and then get on it with a 1/2" drive breaker bar and socket. It is locktited in .

Counter clockwise will get it off.
