I have a rattle coming from underneath the ride when shifted into reverse. I have a four speed tranny, and the rattle only comes from reverse other gears are quite. Don't know whats causing issue. Any Ideas out there?

Re: 1965 Impala reverse rattle
Check the driveshaft center bearing and transmount. My 64 had a rattle in reverse and thats what caused it.

Re: 1965 Impala reverse rattle
The '65 has no center hanger bearing. Look for a loose rearend pinion or possibly the u-joints, in reverse they get loaded differently and might be the problem.
