2.5L Turbo Dodge Shadow Problem, Need Help!
car won't stay running....I have tried everything except for the map sensor, I was wondering if the map sensor would cause this sorta problem, I think that it might be the map sensor because when I can finally get the car running for a few mintues...I disconnect the map sensor and this is no different in the cars proformance.
I was also wondering if anyone knows where I could find a map sensor. Please let me know thanks, you can email me at [email protected] Thanks |

thats what it sounds like to me. try this, goto the salvage yard or see if you can borrow somebodies map sensor from a running vehicle.this way you know its good. otherwise, go to napa, carquest, etc,etc
i'm sure they have or can get one. |

Have you ran a code check ? Go to a website called donavans dodge garage. He has tons of information on how too. A map sensor on those cars can drive a person crazy. But if it runs then out of the blue shuts off it is probabaly a map sensor. If i am thinking right what you do is turn the key forward and back 5 times (without cranking it over) and then count the flashes of the check engine light and that is your code. But donavan is the man when it comes to fwd mopars. A 10 sec reliant that beats the piss out of a twin turbo supra is pretty dang cool.Check him out.
