Antifreeze pouring out of car! Major! Help!

Hi, I hope it's okay that I am posting here....because I know nothing about cars....but I really need some help! When I pulled in the driveway tonight my car (I have a 1992 mazda 626) looked like it was overheating. It wasn't. When I went to leave I noticed there was a HUGE puddle of antifreeze. So I went to the store to get some more antifreeze and when I got back and looked under the car there was a stream of antifreeze pouring out from underneath the car. but it is not running out of the radiator, it seems to be coming from behind the engine! When the car is running it doesn't seem to leak anymore. Only when I turn it off. (that's how it appears to me) Anyone Know what this is? Can anyone help me? I am a single mother and can't afford a mechanic right now. Thankyou!!

The coolant overflow tank in this car is prone to leaks. The tank is made up of two pieces of plastic that are glued together. Over time, the tank starts leaking from the seam where the two pieces fit together. I am already on my third tank because of this problem.
