|
need help finding a part in the engine bay
as some of you know ive been trying to track down the cause of my weak spark(no its not the plugs, wires, or coils). so now im looking for the power transistor. could anyone point me in the direction of its location.

Try adding your car into your sig to make this easier on everybody. All cars are different in their own little ways.
I know where it is if you have a 92 Talon/Eclipse/Laser, it's right below the Coil pack, right below where you plug the power supply into the Coil pack is a bigger plug and thats it. I don't know where this part is on any other year if its in a different place on the other years. |

ok sry for the sig, but anyways its a 98 eclipse gsx with a 99 bolck and a 95 head(no idea why)

Its on the manifold to the left of the coil pack on the intake manifold. The connector is identical to the MAS connector, if that helps.
And why take the time to say sorry about the sig, but not correct the problem. Doesnt make any sense.

in case you dont know where/how to change it. in the upper right side of the screen there is a link "user cp" click this and then there will be tabs for signature, avatar, profile, etc...
