launch

anyone have some tips on hooking up the tires on a good launch? the high 200's I have is way different than the 160 I had with the NA and the boost just makes it that much more confusing

I haven't practiced it much either so obviously that matters but I'll get around to that soon enough haha

Re: launch

u need a clutch, a flywheel
coil over, springs and shock, sway bars, camber kit,
a full stand alone, some FD wheels with spacers,
also need to get rid of that T2 hood and swap an aluminium n/a one, and get a fluydine rad and a fmic, but not a big one, its overkill, a small decent one do the job very well.

Re: launch

I don't have money to throw tons of stuff onto this car, I have money to upkeep it and maybe put in a radiator next month or so but besides that I just want to learn how to drive it like I could with my NA... I don't know my exact HP and I don't want to waste money on a dyno so forget about that... I'm sure I have over 250 though but it doesn't really matter I just need some tips on launching from some other people with TII's...

get in the kitchen, take a chill pill, a good glass of water, then a deep breath. hahahaha, seriously man, relax

v-mount or front mount, its quite a close call, and a v-mount will cost a bit more money and need more fab, and anyway, its a matter of taste, just like i dont like the scoop on the T2 hood, wich is why i proposed to change the hood...

How about we tone it down a bit? No need to start calling people dumbasses, and get all pissy.

Re: launch

my hood is aluminum and I like the look of the TII hood, unfortunately that doesn't matter because this thread is about launching!

thank you J-rat for a real answer, I was hoping I'd hear from you in this thread... I will test that method out... if anyone else has any information that pertains to launching then post

to the rest of you, stop arguing about things I can't afford because it really doesn't matter
