cab swaping

was wondering if anyone knows if i can swap cabs i got a wrecked 92 and am wanting to swap cab from my 95 and was wondering about the wiring harness and if thell swap out any help would be useful

Re: cab swaping

The cab will fit as long as the cab your are replacing is the same type (regular cab or extended cab) As far as the wiring harnesses, some may, others may not. There are many variables that can make the harnesses different. For instance, power windows, mirrors, seats, cassette or CD player, 4.3L or 5.7L, throttle body or carb'd, etc.. I would take wiring diagrams for both year models because there were quite a few changes made in '94 models. Primarily the drive train, but inside chages were made as well. But the body (cab) and the frame are the same,

take the time to swap your wiring to the new cab, this way you know its right
