2000 GC limited blower motor wiring diagram

My blower motor for heater/ac was coming on, working fine for a few weeks, then stopping for a few weeks. Finally looked under glove box and found a wire that was frayed. Took jeep in and was told that the wires shorted out a box going to blower motor. Box cost is 160 and labor 40. Doesn't sound right. I cannot locate a wiring diagram so I can figure out what part i need. It is a black box that is under the glove box. Wires going to the blower motor hook into the box. Does anyone know what part the black box is? thanks
