My latest model :) *pics!*

Finished my latest model recently. (after needing a new windscreen!)
A Subaru Impreza WRC 1999.

It's my second model - the WRC 2001 was my first.

I've just started a Pug 206 WRC 2001, and just ordered a Team Arai and STI 7! Will keep me busy!

Thanks for listening, and heres a few pics.

Cheers, Mole

They look f***ing A dude!!! The earlier impreza has got to be one of tamiya's greatest kits of recent times. Ive just finised the 98 version which im fairly pleased with. Im sure it was cursed though, maybe something to do with it being stalled for about 3years!!!

Only some dodgy scanner pics...

One or two little things left to do like add aerials, wipers and panel lines and i want to clear coat it with future too.
Hopefully u can make out the etched seatbelts and carbon fiber in the interior and on side mirrors, plus drybrushing to exhaust.

Cool, I like what you did with those exhausts, whatever you did to them.

You drybushed them huh? Tamiya.com's Japanese website has a totally different way of doing that, using an airbrush, for motorcycle mufflers.

I'm more of an Evolution man myself, but there's no denying your skills. Keep up the good work and put 'em in the gallery!

I plan on building a model of every evolution of the Lancer Evolution in both street and rally garb (1,2,3,4,5,6,&7, though I doubt I'll be able to find much past 3 or 4). That's going to cost me a lot of time and money!

flyonthewall - That carbon fibre looks the b0ll0x!! I luv it
The exhaust looks really good as well. Well done

Marco_Wrc - Thanks Get building yours!

Guiddy - ooo err Thanks Look forward to seeing them!

primera man - Thanks

jay@af - Well.... As far as I know.... 2001 WRC, 99 WRC, 98 WRC, 98 Montecarlo, Safari, Toshi Arai version... Something like that anyway

Twist - That will be excellent if you manage to build all them I also love evos... just love scoobies a bit more
How do I get pics into the gallery? I'll take some betters ones for it.

tenzoracerevovii - Go for the Subarus! & be happy! Im also thinking about a whole collection of rally cars - I've started the 206 WRC 'cos I think that's one pretty car! I think I'll build all the Subarus I can get for now though.

Thanks again all.... Mole

I made that decision. I bought 5 Subaru Impreza rally cars [=
I'm trying to get all peugeot 206 rally cars as well.

I think i might get the wrc 2001 version done this weekend.
