92 Explorer Parking Park Serious Problem!! Need Help!!

I just recently bought a 92 XLT explorer and been having some problems with it. Well the first big one is, the Parking Brake won't disengange. I can't drive this thing. I parked it in my driveway last night and tried to put the Parking Brake on and it seemed to be really tight. So I pushed on it really good and it seemed to work. Well that was stupid of me. This morning I tried to start it and then release the brake, no go. It release the passenger side, but not the drivers side. I have no clue what is wrong. I can get it to move when I am in reverse, but the drivers side tire will not move in any other gear. I can't drive it forward at all because the drivers side tire will just skid along locked up. What the heck is wrong with it? Anyone got a clue on this?

Is it the front or rear tire thats locking up? If its the front its not the brake. I would try setting and releasing the parking break and them go under the rear of the car and see if the cable is damaged. It could also be a locked up drum, but that is not common. I would start with tracing the brake cable and look for damage.
