Wet air filter
anyone else have a problem with water getting past the airfilter when it is raining for a while? I am using a fram air hog filter, the airbox is real wet, the filter and water has gone up the small hose and into valve cover, forcing an early oil change! I took the box out to inspect and all seems okay!

Never had that problem, and I have never used those filters.. If the box is collecting water, take it out and drill some holes in the bottom of it to provide some drainage.
I know a couple of guys that got water in their box before, but remedied the problem by drilling some holes in the bottom.. Plus, more holes = more air flow = more power! j.k.

OK sand sailor, listen up stop driven your Cherokee out to your boat. I know it's faster than rolling up you pants and walking ashore for lib. But now and then you do take your boats in water deeper than you knees and that's when you pick up water in Cherokee air cleaner. Just take the smaller boat ashore and leave the DEEP water to the real sailors.
