i dont know what to do

I have been thinking and i dont know what to do. I have a 89 z-28 iroc red w/grey int, t-tops, 305 tpi auto lb9, a kenwood cd player, infinity speakers, and a Grant gt 4 spoke steering wheel. i can either fix it up like new paint exhaust and minor things or instead of doing that i could get another camaro to fix up, i could restore my dads 70 el camino or possibly buy a chevelle or gto and restore it. It will take me along time either way b/c im 16 with a part-time job.I wont sell my iroc though. I love it too much. what would you do?

Re: i dont know what to do

i would say just keep the car you have, its alot less hassle than selling it and you are already know every thing it needs

Re: i dont know what to do

:agree: Yeah its hard to buy a new car and know everything it needs right away. With the car you have you know exactly what you need plus you've already been driving it for a while so you are getting used to it anyways. 3rd gens are beauties, keep it nice and shiny imo.

Re: i dont know what to do

I think i will just fix it up. although all it needed was a paint job until i had a fender bender. now i need a new hood, right front fender, and front bumper cover. the frame is straight the engine is fine except the iac valve. just needs little things.

Thats half of the battle, the other half is finding out what are all the little things which is a PITA in new cars.

Re: i dont know what to do

i would just spend some time gettin the body parts for now.. really you could find them at a junkyard, or if you have to, i know there are sites that sell direct replacements ready to bolt on and primed for paint already. but definately keep it. if you have an IROC now and sell it, you'll be kicking yourself for years to come.
