yup, you can't get no where, especially if you have a lower model than the civic SI. of course you will be able to beat another stock civic unless the person driving it is a good driver, then prepare to eat dust.

And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

Sorry man.. if you want those gains to be worth something beneficial, you're gonna need a B-series or H-series motor which flows enuff air to take advantage of the mods. Even w/ a B16 you're only gonna see maybe 15-18hp gain if your lucky.

If you want to own the streets, you're gonna need something extreme (turbo, supercharger, n2o) to own.

turbo is better, but as you would know, any car that come stock without turbo means one thing. that turbo should not be used on it. get a supercharger, if you get turbo, all you're really doing is killing your engine faster even with the right tune up. no honda engine were design for turbo, even though you see turbo gsr and all this other crap, they are nothing compare to a real stock turbo car.

rockerdude why do you say no trubo but super charger is ok? i have heard that a supercharger requires less maintenence and you dont have to mess with it much. but wouldnt they tare up your engine about the same? i mean the dont both just blow more air into your engine right?

riiiiight Did you know that a stock mustang v6 auto will whoop you by several car lengths with the setup you're running? Or should I wait until you stop dreaming and then tell you that.

your right onesojourner about the supercharger, best setup for any honda engine is going ALL MOTOR, not turbo, not supercharge, not nos, go all motor. if you fix your car to the max and still can't beat beat a stock WRX then i suggest you trade in the civic for a real sport car.
