Left foot braking is used so you dont waste time moving your right foot off the throttle. To my knowledge it would be good when drifting becuase you can tap the brakes quickly to upset the weight of the car to throw it into a drift, and then be on the gas much quicker.

I know in rallying drivers use it on tight, techinical stages where every second counts.

i try to do it but i just do this really nasty squealing brake slam completely the opposite of anything graceful and smooth. guess i need to practice it more but i dont really have a need for it cuz my gas and brake are so close together i can just heel-toe it really easily.

my left foot is pretty damn good on the clutch pedal, but is a complete dumbass when it gets on the brake :hehe:

I've actually gotten pretty good at it....funny though...I learned on my wife's car. Mine was laid up for some work, so I had to use hers. It developed this nastly little problem of stalling when coming to a stop with my foot on the clutch. Took me a week of looking over everything from Plugs/wires, injectors, and the AFM before figuring out the problem (a f*cking split (between expansion folds) intake hose!). So that meant a week of driving through Japanese traffic. No problem....pop the clutch, keep right foot on the gas, take it out of gear, stop with the left foot. My wife tried it and gave me a shoulder strap burn! LOL!

a 2.7 liter RB26DETT? did you mod it?

left foot braking ahhhh yes i love that

When cornering still accelerate and tap the brake to make the front tires grip more .. enables you to corner faster

if you have an FF you can do this to get out of a problem: first of all you don't want ABS: what you do is this when you get into a mess and you can't stop in time : you slam on the brakes : momentum goes forward: then you turn all the way to one side : release brake: accelerate you will shoot of in that direction : problem avoided
