1996: How Do I Get My Rear Rotors Off?

Do I have to loosen up the parking brake shoes? I tried today and it would not budge. Yes, I did remove the caliper. I tried giving it a few whacks with a hammer and still nothing happened. Do how do I get them off?

If the caliper's off and the parking brake is too, then the rotor should be able to come off with a tug or two.

If the rotor is still tight, you may need to take a brake spoon and back the park brake. There is a slot on the inside top to adjust it through. Hope this helps.
