today my wife tells me there is a puddle of water in the DRIVERS side floor board. i thought it might be a heater core but is only about 16 oz. of water. it doesnt smell like coolant at all. i thought maybe she went through a puddle and it came in through the steering column hole. i just cant figure it out. can you help?

Check the door seals. If my door is just barely cracked it will drip. Also check the strip on the back side of the hood. Water may seep down the firewall into the holes.
