Yes to Seafoam

After reading about Seaform for several months on this forum and others, I tried a can this weekend. I have been impressed with results. I poured about 1/4 can into the PVC inlet and the rest in the tank. Count me in the Seafoam camp. It is not quite the miracle cure that some posters make it out to be, but it works.

Has anyone tried it in their crankcase?

Re: Yes to Seafoam

Actually, most people put it through their brake booster line, i/2 can slowly poured in, then the rest poured in fast to kill the engine.....Also, people put half can in the crankcase, and a full can in the tank....when people do this they get excellent results, immediately better idle, and also better gas mileage....now remember everybody's truck or car is different.....most people have awesome results like me....the best stuff out there....I couldn't see my neighbours house 10 feet away! Then again, some people don't have a lot of carbon build -up... and that means not that much of an improvement...also, don't forget...if you idle alot, or push the gas hard...or have higher mileage....this all affects it....So you should consider yourself lucky, seeing you had a very well maintained vehicle......
