how to decode a vin???

I am thinking of purchasing a 96 LT4 Vette, and would like some help decoding the Vin for info on the car.

Any info directing me in how to decipher it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: how to decode a vin???

ok got it...the easiest way is to tell you to go towww.c4corvettes.com/html/vin__decoding.html or just c4corvettes.com and go to the vin decoder link...
