GMMG cat-back is here!!

Yee-hah!!! Got here today. Took the factory cat back loose. Waiting on my wife to get back with the sawz-all so I can cut the over-axle pipe. Just for sh@#s and giggles, fired it up with-out the cat back. Neighbors are pleased! :-) I got wood!
More later. I'll post a pic or two after done.

Re: GMMG cat-back is here!!

You want have your neighbors pissed???
Get longtubes, a nice cam, and dump the exhaust right after a 3" y-pipe.
Sounds like this with hi-flow cats.

You will love the GMMG sound....One of the best sounding cat-backs out there.

Re: GMMG cat-back is here!!

In fact, I am happier than a pig in slop!
I've been waiting on this cat back since Dec. Had some finaincial problems, then, it got back-ordered when I did order it. So, I have been waiting @ 3 months to get this.Drove about 50-60 miles after install. LOVE that sound. Gonna go to HPE soon and see what if any difference cat-back makes on a stock 99 Z28.
Pics are here, on third page. sorry, but I'm on dail-up and unpload/download speeds stink!

BTW: NEVER, EVER, under any circumstances send your wife to Wally-world while the Sawz-all is under the rear seat of her truck!
Un-install of the factory cat-back took about 20 minutes. Then waited 2 hrs for wife to return home so I could use Sawz-all to cut the over-axle pipe. Install took about 45 minutes, but most of that was tweaking every thing so that the tips look right.

Sounds about right.

Once I got a sawsall, the install took 45 minutes. Took forever before that though trying to cut with a regular saw.
