MP3 questions, reccomendations.

Hey guys..gotta few questions. First thing I wanna say is, don't really want an Ipod. I want to know, is there any MP3 players that can hook up to AV jacks in common Stereos? So if that works, I could take music from my computers, then to the MP3, then to my stereo, what has AV jacks right up front, so it would work well. If you could answer this question, I would appreciate it. Also, anyone have any horror stories I should be aware of? Thanks.

$5 piece of cable from your local electronics store. Headphone to stereo (white/red) cable should be able to be used with anything that has a normal headphone jack connection.

I only found some over priced Ipod ones for 19.99. They also work on other MP3 so that is always an option, I'll just ask at Besbuy. But what do you guys think I should get for the actual MP3 Player?

I got my cable at Best Buy for like 10 bucks and it will work with almost any audio out jack.

Not considering an Ipod? Try a Creative. Some of thier new stuff is kick ass.

Wow Creatives look awesome! Seriosly, 4gb for 180 seems like a steal. Had any expierence with them? Let me know alright man, thanks.

Will I be able to take my files from say, limewire and put them on any mp3 player, or will the mp3 player just takes songs that are from pay sites, like napster, live jukebox, etc.?

You can put any mp3 or wav format onto creatives from any source.

Yep, and I heard they are good quality. Never heard a complaint. If you want to go all out thier highest model plays video too, I believe it is 20gb. But thier whole line is said to be from decent-awesome.
