1996 contour need help
i have a 1996 ford Contour that you need to use 2 feet to drive it when making a stop or it will stall .Any help on what this can be ???? or a few things that might cause this . thanks for your help

Not sure what you're asking here. I'm assuming this is an automatic and you have to give it gas when you hit the brakes?

It could be plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc. Maybe a full tune up would help. Change the plugs, wires, air filter, and fuel filter and if this doesn't work, go to AutoZone and have a diagnostic ran on the car, it is free.

what engine does it have? Once you blurp the throttle, does the engine "catch itself" and run fine again?

probably the MAF sensor.
clean it off, and try it, don't use carb cleaner. |
