someone help with motor swap!!!

whats a good price for a used b16a with 4000 miles on it, and would me and my friends be able to install it ourselfs or would a machanic have to do it?

Assuming 1st generation...
jdm b16a motor alone...a few hundred
Complete changeover (engine, ecu, tranny, sensors, axles etc.) around $1400.

that seems a little cheap to me....i looked on www.passwordjdm.com and i think that they were more expensive than that for a complete swap

BTW Mojoe i've read that Hmotorsonline isn't a great place to buy from.

I don't remember off hand, but i read on two posts that HMO isn't a great place to buy from, but that may just have been that person's opinion. I wouldn't know for sure. Do you think it is a good place to deal w/??

Like i said, i've heard 2 comments reguarding that place and both of them were negative.

They are good for pickups from my experiance.Of course i just live an hour away, so i just pick up what i ned from them.

ive got my b16 from hmo and had no problems at all, they are very reputable if you ask me. steve is a great guy and will go out of his way for you.
