93 transmission
my 93 rodeo about a month ago was reading low on tranny fluid and the check trans light came on. I put fluid in it and about a week ago it happened again, and then today. but today the fluid level is fine, but the rodeo don't want to go. If I shut it off and restart it in a few minutes everything is fine, then the transmission takes a crap again. someone told me it could be a clogged filter. Could this be right , or am I totally screwed?

Re: 93 transmission
Isuzu tranny's do funny things with weak electrical systems.
If your battery is old, replace it. Also, look for all of your battery ground points and clean them up. Also if you have a lot of miles on your tranny, I would drop the pan and replace the fluid, and fill it back up (this will only be a partial swap, but on an older tranny, this is probably the best way to do this). Also at the same time look where it might be leaking from (tranny fluid doesn't just disappear).
