Shift boot troubles
I have a 97 EX and the shift boot on it has seen its better days come and go so i needed a new one. I bought a shift boot off of www.jcwhitney.com and it doesn't really fit. It is supposed to fit Civics....i guess. It doesn't have these little sections cut out of it on the bottom.
I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before and what they did to fix it. Where did you guys go to get nice shift boots that don't cost more than $30-40. I could cut the new one up to make it fit, but i'd rather get one that is going to fit so that i don't screw up a $30 shift boot for nothing.
