Question: Hasegawa evo 4 & 5 (street version) rims

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the 6 spoke rims that come in the street versions of the Hasegawa Lancer EVO 4 & 5 kits are available as a separate wheel set?

I've already forked out for a Tamiya evo 5 rally kit and a Tamiya EVO 6 street kit (for the interior & RHD dash) and a set of photo etch & don't really want to spend another $50 on the Hasegawa evo 5 kit just for the wheels!

TIA.
Daymo

Are you referring to the split rim OZ racing wheels? I do not think they are available as separate rim/tyre sets. To be honest, they are quite small and would look a little odd on a Tamiya kit. Personally, I think you would be better off using the rally rims from the Evo 5 and sourcing a set of road tyres (i.e. from Aoshima's wheel and tyre sets). If you are dead set on the Hasegawa rims, then the only way you can get hold of them without buying the kit is to contact Hobby Link Japan's parts department via email and they can order them for you:

Thanx 4 that exhaust smoke. They are a bit small but I'm looking to build a specific race car which ran with those oz f1 rims in the Australian GT-P series a few years ago. I ended up picking up the Fujimi evo 5 street version which has them and they're a bit small too, but useable.
