89 IROC 305 to 350 swap HELP!!!!!
I'm about to swap out an engine in a '89 IROC that is equipped with a 305. I need to know what I would have to change in order to use a 350 in it's place. Any info about this or some help as to where I might find all the needed info pertaining to this swap would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm in search of a reputable engine builder who sells a good performance 350 for the '89. Thanks in advance.

Ok, we're going to assume it is a 305 TPI. To swap in the 350 you'll need: Prom for an 89 350 or a custom chip for a 350 using the 1989 ARAP Corvette code (the absolute BEST MAF code GM ever wrote)
You'll need 22 lb injectors, and a 350 knock sensor. Everything else from the 305 set up will be used on the 350. |

Re: 89 IROC 305 to 350 swap HELP!!!!!
well, morley again covered about all the bases, as far as a reputable shop that builds 350's, are you looking for a place local to where you live, or a major company that does mail order crate engines?
