How to clean the Mass Air Sensor? And check fuel pressure?
Just curious, but whats the right way to clean the Mass Air sensor. I know you dont touch the wires cause they are brittle/thin so scrubbing is out of the question
And Ive been seeing a lot of people talking about their fuel pressure, how do you check it? |

Throttle body cleaner.
Spray the wires with it and you can use a VERY SOFT TOOTHBRUSH and gently message the junk off of the wire.

Quote:
Remove the MAF from the intake assembly. Grab a can or carb or TB cleaner and a very soft toothbrush. Wet the two small filament wires on the engine side of the MAF with the cleaner, then wet the toothbrush and gently message the gunk on the wires. Then rinse and repeat until they are shiny and clean. Then reset the computer, and start it up.
