Help with 01 Galant, Lights dont work after Cd player Install

I installed a after market head unit today in my friends car and now the dash lights dont work and the light dont blink when you go to Lock/unlock the doors, could it be a fuse?? advice is appreciated

ya, its a fuse. its under the hood, in the box next to your battery. i dont know what number it is right now but i think its 1a. i know you have to pull up a yellow holding piece just to get the fuse out. i find that i blow that fuse just about every time i mess w/ something electrical in the car.

Thats because the proper procdure is to disconnect the negative battery cable when doing any wiring

It is probly that fuse which is a 10amp fuse if its ok then check the rest of the lighting fuses
